  • The Self-Awareness Challenge

Join Dawne and other listeners on this week’s Self-awareness challenge.

    1. Internal self-awareness:  Pay attention to where you feel feelings in your body.  Is your go to signal clenched fists or tight shoulders, tightness in your chest or a sick feeling in your stomach?  The challenge this week is just to notice and we will talk on Sunday about what you noticed and why it matters.

    2. External self-awareness:  Find 2-4 people that care about you and want the best for you but will give you the real goods too and then go to the Self-Awareness quiz by Dr Tasha Eurich:  ( Link to the quiz) or just ask them to consider these 2 questions from Dr Kristi Hedges (2019).  Also found on p. 38 of the book

    1. What’s the general perception of me?

    2. What could I do differently that would have the greatest impact on my success

Remember the people answering these questions are trying to help and that you asked them so try to stay in that place of curiosity even if it is hard to hear!

The research is so very clear that when people are “well” it increases their health, happiness, and success.
